Munch and Music in December


We now have details of the next Munch and Music which takes place on Wednesday December 1st in the church.

The programme is presented by Woldingham School and features their Amaris Choir. Admission and coffee are free. Coffee is provided at 12.15 and the performance is 12.45-1.30pm. You are invited to bring your own ‘Munch’. The choir have performed in St. Mark’s Venice and Westminster Cathedral.

Please note : There is no ‘Munch For Music’ in January but it will continue from February- July 2011

Currently in church enjoying my lunch while listening to classical guitarist Fiona Harrison. Beats sitting at home reading the paper. Getting on for 200 in the audience again. If you’re local and haven’t been to one of these free lunchtime concerts put Wed 1st December at 12.45pm in your diary now.

This Wednesday, 3rd November, we have our regular free concert. Free drinks provided from 12.15pm and the concert begins at 12.45pm.

Bishop of Southwark announced


The new Bishop of Southwark has been announced this morning by 10 Downing Street. He will be the Rt Revd Christopher Chessun, currently Area Bishop of Woolwich in the Southwark diocese. The press release can be seen here. The Diocese also has details of the appointment on its website here.
