Good news regarding our sound system. As those who attend church regularly will know the system at present is adequate, but really needs upgrading. We need a better system to cope with larger events such as Munch and Music and School performances as well as giving us more flexibility in worship. We would also like to be able to record services and sermons for those unable to be in church.

The good news is that as a result of  generous donations from a member of the congregation and grants from both the diocese and from the Friends of Saint Johns, we now have £7000 to spend on the system. A meeting has been arranged with the Diocesan Sound Advisor and after that we will be able to draw up a list of necessary work, put the specification out to tender, and apply for the necessary faculty. All this takes some time but we will keep you all posted.
